Situated (Zine)
Jianuan Xu is a visual artist based in Bristol, UK. Her practice is rooted in personal experience, exploring the relationship between place, emotion, and perception. She is interested in how photography can move beyond representation to engage with materiality and embodied experience. Blending observation with introspection, she approaches photography as both a method of storytelling and a way of understanding the self. Rather than treating photography solely as a representational medium, she explores its material and spatial possibilities.
