Situated is a bilingual zine that brings together conversations and visual work by five Chinese women photographers working within the UK music scene. By foregrounding diverse East Asian voices, the project reflects on the challenges of working in the music industry and how questions of identity emerge through cross-cultural collaboration.

The zine offers a perspective often absent from mainstream music narratives. Rather than attempting to define a singular shared identity, it reveals the different ways Chinese women photographers locate themselves, negotiate visibility, and develop their
own forms of agency within the live music scene.
